I had a birthday. Birthday Bouquet from my co-worker.
Mug from my friend.
I’m trying to eat healthy. Chicken with salad greens in a pretty dish. I’ve lost 10 lbs.
I worked with my daughter planning her spring wedding. Sweet Powder Room arrangement.
She got married in March. I purchased this beautiful cake stand on Amazon.
Not long after the wedding, I got sick. Too feel better I drank herbal tea in a pretty tea cup.
Feeling much better, I got outside on a beautiful sunny Saturday and planted some flower pots.
Breaking my normal morning routine AND my eating habits, I went out and had breakfast with my dear daughter #2. ♥
I AM BLESSED.
What about you? How has your 2017 been so far?
To those that may be struggling with disappointments, life, diet, lack of results…
I’m having a blast with my new Silhouette Cameo vinyl cutter!
Here’s just a few samples of designs I’ve been cutting.
. . .
I cut my daughter’s initial along with a chevron background. I must say this was my first tightly registered multi-colored design and it was a pain! lol It’s going to take more practice to be comfortable cutting these successfully.
Here’s a little logo supporting my fave baseball team!
Here’s a monogram for a friend. I added different size dots on the cup though they’re not very visible on this photo.
This last cup sports a Tennessee Tri-Star design in honor of my home state.
. . .
Do you have a Silhouette vinyl cutting machine?
Being new at this, I can use all the tips I can get! Like a great place to get vinyl at great prices. Tips for layering multi-colors would be helpful, too. 😀

Let’s be honest…we all feel this way some days.
When my children were little, we always said this simple blessing before our meal.
Our hands we fold, Our heads we bow,
For food and drink, We thank Thee now.
Do you have a favorite family blessing?
I don’t know of anyone who WANTS to go through hard times, but sometimes the ending results are amazing! #keepthefaith

Some places are hard to leave behind.
Some peeks into my Spring.
The hostas I planted in 2013 and forgot about came up again. Love me some hostas because they’re so easy to grow.
Eating supper on the front porch can be so relaxing after spending the day inside.
My oldest daughter has fallen in love with gardening. She has planted so many beautiful flowers this Spring. Now I need to get her interested in veggies. 🙂
After an extensive search, I was so excited to find this cute owl mug for only .25 at the thrift store!
I love it when my hubby cranks up the grill. I know some yummy food is on the way. He prepared enough for us to eat on through the week and when the grilled veggies were gone, I pan roasted these in the oven. Real food and good eatin’!
After my last post on that beautiful Spring day, I found out my oldest brother had died suddenly. He left a void in the lives of his daughters, grandchildren, siblings, and father. I think of him often and miss him daily. Some of my family made the trip to Reelfoot Lake in his memory.
Thanks for stopping by!

So happy to see these pink blossoms on this beautiful Spring day!
Make those special memories while your little ones are still little.
My girls are older now, but I hope they never forget.
These 2 things I need to do!
