Don’t throw away those orange peels!
~Simmer orange peels, cloves, and cinnamon sticks in pot of water on the stove to freshen the air naturally. For safety’s sake, keep an eye on it and don’t leave it boiling unattended on the stove.
~Scatter orange peels in your vegetable or flower gardens to deter cats from using them as a litter box. Cats hate the smell of citrus and will stay away.
~Grate the peel with a zester and leave out to dry overnight. Use it along with cinnamon sticks and dried flowers to make potpourri.
